Hi, I’m Samantha! Author, illustrator, chief Gonk wrangler and the slightly overactive imagination behind The Gonks of Gardenshillock.

I spend my days writing stories, drawing Gonks, dreaming up ridiculous ideas and convincing my family they’re completely reasonable! Somehow, those ideas have grown into a real-life storybook world. I love creating little details, unexpected surprises and the kind of magic that makes both children and grown-ups believe, just for a while.
